Day 14 Automobiles, buses, trains, planes, more buses, another automobile

Not a very catchy title but not a very interesting day. It's after midnight Central Time so I'll post today's pics tomorrow. We got to the airport on time after returning the rental car, but almost missed our flight because they changed the gate while we were eating breakfast. They called us on the intercom and we made it with minutes to spare. The rest of the day was not very exciting. We had some delicious authentic Texas beef barbeque for dinner. Tomorrow should be a nicer drive and a nicer place to stay as we head to Biloxi MS and the beautiful Gulf Coast. ----------------------------------------------------------------- It's morning here so I'll add some more. Sam's Town had an Old west theme, complete with a covered wagon. At the airport, Sam spotted some art, with butterflies forming 2 airplanes. He took a picture. There was also a giant turtle sculpture. Our first plane ride was 3 hours, so we amused ourselves with funny pictures featuring Sam's M & M Man. Then we roda tram at the Houston airport. We finally flew to San Antonio and found an odd group of young people staring straight forward, crosslegged on the floor. Each had a manila envelope on his/her lap. We still don't know what that was about. We found our luggage and eventually our car (hint: write down the location in the parking garage where you park for a week). We stopped for really good barbeque beef sandwiches in Flatonia Texas, and Sam had a Texas sized brownie. We got to Houston (again) about 10:30 and checked in to a very dumpy La Quinta Inn.
